End of Financial Year Celebrations

As the financial year comes to a close, gather at The Cut Bar & Grill for a more considered way to host. Located within the Argyle Stores in The Rocks, the venue offers a range of private dining spaces suited to both intimate dinners and larger EOFY events.

From the Wine Room through to the Rocks Room, which accommodates up to 70 seated or 100 standing, each space blends elevated dining with a warm, celebratory atmosphere.

Menus focus on premium cuts and seasonal produce alongside a curated wine list designed to pair seamlessly with the menu.

Pie & Pint - The Cut

A classic, done properly. The Pie & Pint pairs a rich beef and bone marrow pot pie with a perfectly poured beer  – simple, satisfying, and exactly what you want from lunch.

Lunch at The Cut

Introducing a new weekday lunch set menu at The Cut Bar & Grill, available 12-3pm, Monday to Friday. Start with your choice of entrée, followed by a main of your choosing from three curated dishes, served with a green salad and seasoned shoestring fries.

It’s the ideal option for a swift and seamless team lunch, bringing efficiency without compromising on flavour. Or take a moment for yourself and savour the best Prime Rib in town – a refined midday break with the quality The Cut is known for.

The Cut_Tasting Menu

Created to celebrate the essence of The Cut Bar & Grill, our new Tasting Menu is a shared journey centred around exceptional beef.

The experience opens with a refined seasonal starter of woodfire Wagyu intercostals with burnt celeriac and miso, setting the tone for the two hero cuts that define the menu.

Guests will enjoy a richly marbled Stone Axe Wagyu Topside MB9+ aged in beef tallow and a Cape Grim Black Angus Prime Rib MB4+ cooked over the woodfire, served with classic sides designed to elevate the flavour of each cut. Our signature Hot Fudge Chocolate Sundae brings the menu to the perfect close.

Introducing our Bourbon Aged Blackmore Wagyu Rump Cap – an exclusive steak available only at The Cut Bar & Grill.

This marble score 9+ Wagyu is muslin-wrapped and bourbon-soaked for 14 days, allowing rich, oaky flavours to infuse deeply. The result is a juicy, tender steak with a bold, distinctive finish.

Created in partnership with Australia’s leading Wagyu producer, Blackmore, this cut honours tradition with a refined, modern twist.

The Cut Roast

Spend your weekend with a classic done right. The Cut Roast features our slow-cooked Cape Grim signature Prime Rib, crisp Yorkshire pudding, crushed peas, sautéed baby carrots, beef fat hassleback potatoes and roast onions. All served with rich red wine sauce and horseradish cream.

Perfect for a slow afternoon in The Rocks—crafted with care, served with precision.
